PRINCIPLE OF THE TEST.

      Preparation of Papanicolaou stain for routine medical and gynecologic cytologies.



SPECIMEN REQUIRED.

      Gynecologic and non-gynecologic cytology specimens, with Tissue Examination Form (SF-515) for non-gynecologic cytology specimens, and Gynecologic Cytology Form (SF-541) for gynecologic cytology specimens.



REAGENTS, INSTRUMENTATION.

      95% alcohol. 100% alcohol. Gill Hematoxylin I. Lithium carbonate (or Scott's solution). Richard Allen Orange G 6. Richard Allen Eosin A. Clearium mounting medium. Sterile Coplin jars.
